Terms and conditions
Use it. Build on it.
You may copy, modify, disassemble, repurpose, republish, and redistribute original DSA Files material, including for commercial use. No permission or payment is required. Third-party material is not ours to give away.
Effective August 4, 2026
Using this site
These terms apply when you access or use dsafiles.com. If you do not agree to them, do not use the site. The site is provided for public information, research, criticism, commentary, and reuse.
Original material is free to reuse
To the extent DSA Files owns the applicable rights, original text, original data compilations, visual design, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other original site material are dedicated to the public domain under CC0 1.0 Universal. You may copy, download, modify, translate, disassemble, adapt, redistribute, republish, sell, or otherwise use that material for any purpose, including commercial purposes, without asking permission, paying a fee, or providing attribution.
What the dedication does not cover
CC0 applies only to material DSA Files owns. It does not cover third-party source documents, quotations, photographs, portraits, logos, trademarks, names, likenesses, or other material credited to or owned by someone else. A citation, link, or appearance on this site does not change that material’s ownership or license. You are responsible for determining whether your use of third-party material is permitted by its license, the public domain, fair use, or other applicable law.
No false endorsement or identity
The CC0 dedication does not grant trademark rights. You may refer to DSA Files when describing or crediting reused material, but you may not use the DSA Files name, logo, or distinctive branding in a way that falsely suggests endorsement, partnership, official status, or that a modified publication is the original DSA Files site. Reuse does not make DSA Files responsible for your version or how you use it.
Information, not professional advice
DSA Files publishes investigative and historical material for general informational purposes. It is not legal, financial, professional, or safety advice. Sources may conflict, records may be incomplete, and content may contain errors or become outdated. Read the qualifications, follow the citations, and verify consequential decisions against primary sources and appropriate professionals.
No warranties
The site and its material are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, reliability, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, or any other kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. DSA Files does not promise uninterrupted access or that every error will be corrected.
External sources and links
Links and citations lead to websites and materials controlled by others. They are provided to expose the record, not as endorsements. DSA Files does not control third-party content, availability, security, privacy practices, or later changes to linked material.
Limit of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DSA Files and its contributors will not be liable for losses or damages arising from access to, inability to access, reliance on, reuse of, or modification of the site or its material. Some jurisdictions do not allow every limitation, so a limitation applies only to the extent the law permits.
Changes to the site or these terms
The site and these terms may change without notice, and the site may suspend or discontinue any part of the service. The effective date above will change when these terms change. A later change does not revoke the CC0 dedication for material already released under it.
